DICK: We’re all kinda old-fashioned since Maddy and I grew up with the stuff our parents did. Nico didn’t really get into movies, TV or web shows until we both started dating.

NICO: I was really into David Bowie before you met me though.

DICK: True, but who isn’t from us? Anyway, for me it’s all about smart thrillers and dramas. Classic gangster flicks and shows like The Sopranos, too. Things like that.

NICO: They’re not really TV shows, but I like Chris Nolan stuff. The man can make the stupidest things sound really smart and I like that.

MADDY: And David Bowie’s in one of them.

NICO: Yes, he is!

MADDY: There’s this old show my folks watched called Spaced, I think? It’s really sharp and funny. It was made by Edgar Wright, whose stuff I always enjoy. I’ve always liked Brit cinema and television, even when I was tiny and lived in Edinburgh.
